You Are

We are seeking a transformative CFO/EVP Functional Leader to redefine our finance and enterprise value functions by harnessing the power of Google Cloud's Data, AI, and agentic technologies.

The Work

This executive role is crucial for architecting and executing a strategy that embeds data-driven intelligence and automation at the core of our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking leader with deep expertise in finance, cloud technology, and the revolutionary potential of AI to drive efficiency, foresight, and strategic value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Architect and implement a comprehensive strategy for leveraging Google Cloud's capabilities to revolutionize finance, accounting, and enterprise value functions. Align the finance technology roadmap with the company's overarching strategic and financial objectives, advising the C-suite and Board of Directors.
  • Data-Driven Finance & Analytics: Spearhead the development of a state-of-the-art financial data ecosystem on Google Cloud for real-time reporting and analysis. Employ predictive analytics and machine learning for advanced financial forecasting, risk management, capital allocation, and business performance insights.
  • AI & Agentic Automation: Champion the deployment of AI-powered agents to automate and optimize critical financial processes, such as procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and financial close. Utilize generative AI to enhance financial reporting, compliance monitoring, and strategic decision support.
  • Change Management & Adoption: Lead the cultural and operational shift towards a data-first, AI-augmented finance organization.
  • Foster the development of financial professionals, equipping them with the skills to thrive in a technology-driven environment.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between the finance organization and technology/data science teams to ensure seamless project execution. Manage key relationships with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and technology partners to ensure compliance and innovation.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Qualification

Here's what you need

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics (or a related field) or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience).
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles (e.g., CFO, VP of Finance), with a demonstrated history of leading large-scale transformation.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience and deep understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and corporate finance principles.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with modern, cloud-based ERP and financial planning systems.

Bonus Points if you have

  • MBA, CPA, or other advanced financial certification.
  • Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its data, analytics, and AI services.
  • Proven success in deploying AI, machine learning, or advanced automation solutions within a finance context to achieve significant business impact.
  • Exceptional executive presence, with the ability to articulate a complex technological vision to financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • A strong record of leading through change, with outstanding project management and team-building capabilities.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
