Adecco has partnered with a leading global manufacturer in the precision tooling and metal cutting industry to recruit an Applications Technician. This is a customer-facing technical role supporting advanced tooling and machine support systems both in the field and remotely.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide technical support for a full product line of precision tooling and equipment
  • Travel to customer sites for installations, service, and training
  • Conduct technical training for sales teams and distributor networks
  • Support customers and internal teams via phone and remote assistance
  • Coordinate product demos, trade shows, and in-house demonstrations
  • Maintain service and customer data in CRM
  • Work with global technical and customer service teams

What They’re Looking For

  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical machine issues
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable with extensive travel
  • Proficient with MS Office; AutoCAD a plus
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and solutions-oriented
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma required
  • Technical school or 2+ years of field service, applications, or related experience preferred

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, standard business hours (field hours may vary)
  • Occasional evening phone support
  • Weekend travel may be required for trade shows
