Position Overview

We are currently seeking a full-time Airport Cashier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling financial transactions at the airport, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

Process various forms of payment for airport services, such as ticket purchases, baggage fees, and parking fees
Count and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift
Assist passengers with inquiries regarding airport fees and charges
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and report any discrepancies
Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with other airport staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient service for passengers
Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as airport regulations and security protocols
Keep the cashier area clean and organized at all times
Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle cash accurately
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary security clearance for working in an airport
