Overview
We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join Dermsquared’s internal creative team, supporting a portfolio of dermatology conferences, digital education products, and community-driven initiatives. This role is responsible for owning brand and logo design across key initiatives while also executing high-quality creative across digital, social, email, and event-related materials.
The ideal candidate has a strong visual point of view, solid technical design skills, and the ability to translate strategic direction into polished, on-brand creative. You will collaborate closely with marketing, creative, and digital teams to ensure visual consistency and impact across all touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Logo Design
  • Own the design and evolution of logos and visual identities for conferences, programs, and initiatives
  • Translate brand strategy and positioning into strong visual concepts
  • Refresh and refine existing brand elements as needed while maintaining continuity
  • Ensure brand expression is consistent across channels and formats
Creative Execution
  • Design high-quality assets across digital, social, email, web, and event materials
  • Produce creative for campaigns including social graphics, email headers, landing page visuals, and promotional assets
  • Adapt and resize creative for multiple platforms and placements
  • Balance creativity with clarity, usability, and performance needs
Creative Collaboration
  • Partner with copywriters, paid media, and marketing teams to develop integrated creative
  • Participate in creative reviews and brainstorming sessions
  • Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining design integrity
Brand Asset Ownership
  • Manage and organize logos, templates, and design files for internal use
  • Maintain clean, accessible design systems and shared assets
  • Ensure teams are using the correct and current brand assets
Trend Awareness & Craft
  • Stay current on design trends, digital formats, and platform best practices
  • Apply trends thoughtfully in ways that support brand goals, not distract from them
  • Continuously refine visual craft and execution quality
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating brand and logo design, as well as digital creative execution
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Experience designing for digital-first environments
  • Strong attention to detail and visual consistency
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working within an in-house creative team or internal agency
  • Familiarity with healthcare, education, or regulated industries
  • Experience designing for conferences or live events
  • Basic motion or video experience is a plus, not required
