Azure Solutions Architect

Job Description

At Bravo, we’re seeking an experienced Azure Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions for National Security clients. This is a high-impact opportunity to help federal agencies modernize their IT infrastructure using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services. In this role, you will guide mission-critical projects from conception to delivery while collaborating closely with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead semi-complex cloud architecture projects from scoping through implementation in alignment with mission goals and federal security requirements.

Evaluate, design, and implement enterprise-grade solutions using Azure services, ensuring alignment with the Cloud Adoption Framework.

Translate mission requirements into detailed project plans, Statements of Work (SOWs), and technical architectures.

Serve as a technical leader for deployment teams, ensuring best practices across Azure identity, infrastructure, and security services.

Drive key technology decisions and advise senior IT and business leadership on architecture trade-offs, risks, and recommendations.

Support the deployment of Microsoft 365 and Azure identity/security governance with a strong focus on Zero Trust principles.

Required Skills

Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (Maryland-adjudicated)

Technical Experience (8–15 years)

Expertise in Azure solution architecture with hands-on experience across the following areas:

Identity & Access Management

Azure Entra ID and distributed identity architecture

Hybrid Identity and Smart Card integration

Azure Groups, MFA configuration, and identity sync

Cloud Security

Microsoft Sentinel and Defender integration

Threat detection, monitoring, and investigation using KQL

Azure Policy and Compliance review

Azure Infrastructure

Azure Management Groups, Key Vault, and Storage provisioning

Networking and Virtual WANs, NSGs

Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), host pool setup, FSLogix profile management

Azure Logging and Monitoring for performance and availability

Microsoft 365 (M365)

Identity planning, governance, and policy definition for M365 environments

O365 configuration, automation (PowerShell), and workload migration

Data security and compliance considerations in M365 adoption

Knowledge of enhanced security features and policy enforcement in cloud environments

Experience supporting federal IT modernization efforts

Familiarity with reusable automation solutions, particularly with ISD and PowerShell
