About the Role

As a Social Media Assistant, you'll help us create and share exciting content across various platforms. You'll assist with managing social media platforms and supporting our strategies to boost our online presence. You'll have the opportunity to help grow our reach and engagement on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.

Drawing on your toolkit of experience, here is what you will be doing:

Learn and apply best practices for social media channels, staying updated on trends and new tools.
Assist the wider Social Media team, in developing social media strategies that align with our brand and goals.
Create on-brand content across various social media platforms, including writing and editing posts and promoting campaigns.
Proactively boost engagement through targeted strategies.
Communicate with customers engaging on our social platforms in a timely manner.
Develop and manage influencer relationships and campaign groups.
Analyze post-performance and use data to inform future strategies.
Attend team meetings and contribute insights and ideas.
Assist the Social Media Marketing Manager with marketing campaigns and other related duties.

About You:

Collaborative Spirit: Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset to bring ideas to life together.
Self-Starter: Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating initiative, independence, and proactive problem-solving skills.
Creative and Analytical: Good understanding of social media management and strategy, with a willingness to learn best practices. Strong interest in developing analytical skills and copywriting abilities.
Tech-Savvy: Experience with social media scheduling/analytics tools, and knowledge of photo and video editing programs.
Flexible Thinker: Effective time management and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Further to that, our ideal candidate will have:

Prior experience in managing social media and community management.
Strong knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, and more.
Demonstrated track record of successful social media campaigns and audience engagement.
Creative skills and the ability to adapt brand tone of voice.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
