We don’t do things the same way as everyone else; we are constantly evolving, refining our processes, and pushing for excellence. We are looking for a Master of the Tool Room to help us get there.

The Role

This isn’t just a support role—it is the backbone of our production. We need a disciplined, high-ownership individual to run our tool room, manage receiving, and maintain a spotless shop environment. You are the person who ensures our machinists and assembly techs have exactly what they need, exactly when they need it.

Key Responsibilities

1. Tool Room Mastery

• Precision Setup: Assemble CNC tooling with 100% accuracy based on setup sheet documentation.
• SOP Discipline: Put away and organize tooling strictly per our SOPs. A "place for everything and everything in its place."
• Deployment: Dispatch tool kits to the machine department to keep production moving without delays.

2. Receiving & Production Kitting

• ERP Gatekeeper: Receive all incoming packages, materials, and tooling into our ERP system with high attention to detail.
• Assembly Kitting: Organize parts returning from outside processes into complete kits.
• Hardware Management: Use assembly documentation to kit parts with the correct fasteners and threaded inserts, ensuring the assembly team can complete "one build per kit" with zero missing components.

3. Shop Stewardship (The "Premier" Standard)

• Facility Upkeep: Take full ownership of shop cleanliness, including daily sweeping and mopping of the floor.
• Grounds & Waste: Manage metal chip recycling, pallet disposal, and general organization of the shop, inside and out.
• Evolution: Help us refine these processes. We are a growing shop and things aren't perfect yet—we want your expertise to help us reach the next level.

• Proactive: You don’t wait to be told what to do. You see a bottleneck or a mess and you fix it.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
