Hello There Collective is hiring a Social-First Video Editor who can turn raw clips into scroll-stopping TikToks/Reels/Shorts—fast.

We’re looking for a CapCut editing wizard with the taste + technical ability to build complicated, multi-layer edits and execute current edit trends, including CGI-style pop-ups, animated callouts, overlays, and motion-driven captions.

What you’ll be doing

• Edit TikTok / IG Reels / YouTube Shorts (organic + paid)
• Build advanced multi-layer timelines (overlays, cutouts, tracked elements, UI-style pop-ups, kinetic text)
• Execute trend-native formats: sound timing, pacing, meme rhythm, pattern interrupts
• Create high-performing versions fast: hook swaps, caption tests, pacing changes, proof inserts, CTA/end card variations
• Take feedback + iterate quickly (we move fast)

You’re a fit if you…

• Are deeply social-native (you know what’s trending + how to translate it into edits)
• Are highly skilled in CapCut (required)
• Can handle complex layering + motion (not just basic cuts and captions)
• Have strong taste: pacing, rhythm, restraint, emphasis, comedic timing
• Are organized and reliable with deadlines

Bonus (not required)

• After Effects / Premiere / Resolve
• Motion graphics (tracking, masking, compositing)
• Paid social editing experience (Meta/TikTok ads)
