HireClearedTalentPOSITION OVERVIEW Senior Cyber Security Engineer - Full-Time Role Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid On-Site) ABOUT THIS ROLE Assist in managing roles and safes, deploy software updates, prepare PAM performance/security reports, identify/mitigate vulnerabilities, provide on-call troubleshooting/remediation for CyberArk PAM solution, support annual disaster recovery testing, document recovery/contingency plans, perform OS patching on vault appliances, ensure PAM exceeds security requirements via Change Management, enhance reporting per DHS CISA. Requires current CyberArk Sentry Certification, 1 year CyberArk implementation in large org like DOT, 3 years server admin (Windows Server 2019/RHEL 8), Bachelor’s +15 years (or Master’s +13, PhD +10, or 18 years no degree) related experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with the management of roles and safes, deploy software updates, and contribute to preparation of reports highlighting PAM tool performance and security Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities Provide support for on-call troubleshooting and remediation efforts related to the PAM solution Support annual disaster recovery testing, aid in documenting recovery and contingency plans, and assist with operating system patching on vault appliances Ensure PAM solution meets/exceeds security requirements following Change Management processes and enhance reporting capabilities in line with DHS CISA requirements REQUIRED SKILLS Current Certified CyberArk Sentry credentials One year of experience designing/implementing integrated lifecycle management processes for CyberArk in organization comparable to DOT Three years server administration experience, proficient in Windows Server 2019 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8 Proficiency integrating CyberArk with SailPoint Extensive Active Directory experience (account management, Group Policy, AD Schema, PKI, PowerShell automation) Database management with SQL Server 2019 (backups, indexing, integrity checks, installation/configuration, ports/protocols, maintenance plans, troubleshooting, data modeling/schema, ERDs) Configure CyberArk for secure collaboration with networks, iDRAC, applications, cloud, storage, servers, appliances EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and fifteen (15) years of related experience; master’s degree and thirteen (13) years of related experience; Ph.D. and ten (10) years of related experience; eighteen (18) years of related experience with no degree CLEARANCE & LOCATION Clearance: DoD Secret or Above (implied by context) Work Location: Hybrid On-Site (Washington, DC) Employment: Full Time U.S. Citizenship Required
