We’re looking to connect with versatile freelance Brand / Visual Designers to join our extended creative bench. This isn’t for one specific project — it’s an opportunity to partner with us on future brand engagements across a wide range of clients and industries.
You’re a designer who can build powerful visual systems from initial concepts through multi-channel application. You create distinctive visual identities, design systems, graphic toolkits, brand guidelines, and integrated campaigns that express the true essence of a brand.
You think expansively about how to create multi-faceted, resilient systems that evolve over time and across touchpoints. You get equally excited about evolving an established brand as you do building something entirely new from the ground up.
You’ll work on focused, collaborative teams alongside strategists, writers, producers, and developers. Collaboration isn’t a buzzword here — you’ll partner closely with colleagues and clients with diverse perspectives and expertise to create thoughtful, enduring work.
What You'll Do
  • Build brand identities and systems, as well as connect guidelines to applications across channels
  • Understand our clients’ needs—learning the boundaries of their brands—while pushing them into new territories
  • Translate brand strategy into powerful visual identity systems from start to finish with a flexible, channel agnostic approach
  • Take ideas from concept to build ready assets, employing sharp typography and graphic design
  • Work on a multi-disciplinary team in a highly collaborative environment with diverse perspectives and expertise
  • Embrace challenges and inspire new ways of thinking and approaching design problems
What You'll Bring
  • Experience building brand identities and systems, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects that meet client goals and are successful in form and function
  • Demonstrated experience shipping exceptional visual work, with your role clearly defined on each project in your portfolio
  • Experience working on cross-disciplinary teams
  • Ability to move quickly to prove out ideas
  • Strong understanding of current industry tools with the ability to adapt to new technologies
  • Strategic problem solving skills and the capacity to distill complex information into meaningful concepts, ideas, and designs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Pay Range
  • The expected pay range for this role is $65-103 per hour , but will depends on the level in which you are engaged
  • Our company has three regional pay bands that it adheres to depending on your location, we reference them as US 1, US 2, and US 3
  • US 3 is our base pay. Examples of cities in US 3 are Portland, Houston and Miami
  • US 2 pay is 7.5% higher than US 3 to meet the market rates. Examples of cities in US 2 are Los Angeles, Chicago and Seattle
  • US 1 pay is 15% higher than US 3 to meet market rates. Examples of cities in US 1 are Brooklyn and San Francisco
