Job Location: Pleasanton, CA / Atlanta GA (Can start remote for now) Job Type: Contract

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or a minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 8 years of experiencein development including defining requirements, developing solution alternatives and estimates and translating client's business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for large complex IT solutions.
• Strong Android development and architecture understanding
• Strong knowledge of Android Material Design
• Experience with Android Studio, Git, MacOS
• Experience creating automated Android unit tests
• Must have demonstrated experience in Android Development. (4 years of experience preferred)
• A passion for mobile technologies
• Travel required: Minimal

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating 3rd party source code and/or libraries
• Experience with AARs (both consuming and creating them)
• Experience consuming and developing XML and JSON web services
• Experience working on agile teams
• Experience in Test-Driven Development principles and tools for Android
• Understanding of concurrent programming and which thread a given piece of logic should run on
• Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration and leadership skill
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think logically
• Manage risk and change with an agile approach
• Adept at learning new technologies quickly
• Experience with Gradle and creating custom tasks
• Experience with git and GitHub to manage and share source code
• Experience with Maven
• Experience with CI servers (e.g. Jenkins, Sonar)
