Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage calendar, scheduling, and organizing; send invites
- Oversee, plan, and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools
- Develop creative and engaging social media strategies
- Set targets for increasing brand awareness and customer engagement
- Support the Audiences team in analysis, reporting of audience data, and providing support on long-term projects
- Develop a content strategy based on business objectives and customer needs
- Research industry-related topics
- Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
- Prepare well-structured drafts
- Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
- Submit work to editors for input and approval
- Setup reminders, organize, and schedule events
- Create and manage daily, weekly, or monthly series and new competitions and campaigns
- Monitor, track, analyze, and report on performance on social media platforms
- Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques to improve social media activity
- Analyze competitor activity and recommend improvements
- Manage day-to-day communications on platforms such as Linked In, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Tik Tok, and You Tube
- Involved in communications, PR, social media, events, and content creation
- Form partnerships and relationships with influencers across platforms
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a brand/social media manager, or relevant role
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Intermediate knowledge of graphic design tools
- Certification in digital/social media marketing (preferred)
- Expertise in writing content/blogs/articles and captions, and increasing the reach of posts/content/audience
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Able to work on a US time zone shift
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Able to give and receive constructive criticism
- Tech-savvy with a proactive attitude
Technical Requirements
- Headset: USB headset with noise cancellation
- Webcam: Working webcam
- Computers: Primary and backup computer with at least i5 to i7 processor and 8GB RAM
- Internet: Main internet service speed of at least 25 Mbps wired connection; backup internet speed of at least 10 Mbps
