• Java / Spring Boot: 13+ years of professional software development experience.
• Google Cloud Platform Dataflow: 3+ years of experience with large-scale data processing.
• Cloud Architecture: Proven design experience in both Google Cloud Platform and AWS environments.

Role Summary

This is a high-level Application/Technology Architect position focused on designing and providing technical solutions for large-scale data processing systems. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing system architecture and leading technical direction while remaining an individual contributor. The project involves working within a cloud-native environment specifically leveraging Google Cloud Platform and AWS for critical product initiatives.

Required Skills

• Professional Software Development: 13+ years of experience.
• Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform): 3+ years of experience.
• Java & Spring Boot: Strong proficiency and recent hands-on experience.
• Google Cloud Platform Dataflow: Minimum 3 years of experience with large-scale applications.
• Cloud Architecture: Proficiency in both Google Cloud Platform and AWS architectures.
• Modern Development: Knowledge of microservices architecture, Restful APIs, and CI/CD Pipelines.
• Databases: Solid experience with NoSQL and Relational Databases.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, resilient, and high-performance systems using Java and Spring.
• Architect solutions on Google Cloud Platform and AWS cloud platforms with a focus on large-scale data processing.
• Utilize Google Cloud Platform Dataflow for managing and processing massive datasets.
• Manage and design systems utilizing both NoSQL and Relational Databases.
• Provide technical leadership and design system architectures while acting as an individual contributor.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Data Engineering certifications.
• Experience with advanced cloud-native monitoring and security protocols.
