Position Overview

Position: Lead, Artificial Intelligence with Security Clearance (Job Code: 32272). Harris Technologies is a trusted disruptor in the defense industry, delivering end-to-end technology solutions across space, air, land, sea, and cyber domains to support mission-critical needs. Job Locations include Palm Bay, FL; Greenville, TX; Anaheim, CA; and Camden, NJ. Schedule: 9/80 regular (Every Other Friday Off). A US Security Clearance is required.

Key Responsibilities

• AI/ML Solution Development & Implementation: Design, build, train, test, and deploy AI/ML models across various domains; develop production-ready software components, APIs, microservices, and automation tools; and implement end-to-end ML pipelines.
• Model & Data Optimization: Optimize models for accuracy, latency, and operational reliability; implement data preprocessing, transformation, and quality checks; and manage model retraining, fine-tuning, and performance enhancements.
• AI Infrastructure, Tools & MLOps: Leverage AI frameworks, toolkits, and both cloud and on-prem infrastructure; develop and maintain CI/CD and MLOps workflows for automated training, deployment, and monitoring; ensure solutions meet security standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with software, data, security, and mission teams; clearly communicate technical concepts; and contribute to documentation, design artifacts, and code reviews.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 9+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in software development and in deploying AI/ML solutions.
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
