Feeling frustrated that they couldnt find anything they wanted to wear, or the great customer service they craved, they started fusing relaxed comfort with glamorous yet wearable fashion trends. This is an exciting opportunity for a Channel Trading Assistant to be part of an exciting international growth story in Mint Velvets future.

• Work with other Channel Trading Assistants to ensure stock allocations are accurately distributed across all channels. Work closely with product merchandising teams to optimise stock levels and support the planning and trading of our Global Host websites.
• Assist in tailoring trading actions, product selections and stock flows to maximise sales, maintain availability and ensure a smooth customer experience across all Host platforms.
• Work alongside the Channel Trading Manager to generate trade reports, conduct performance analyses, and identify actionable insights, both internally and in collaboration with brand partners.
• Manage the daily distribution of data and imagery to ensure Mint Velvet products are effectively showcased on partner websites. Maintain regular communication with partners to enhance the brand's presence.
• Conduct regular site audits to ensure product is displayed and information is correct, for a seamless customer journey.
• Conduct weekly reviews of stock levels in our distribution centre, proposing trade actions to manage stock coverage effectively across all our partner sites.
• Analyse best-selling items across channels and challenge partners regarding any styles that are underperforming compared to the overall brand performance.
• Coordinate seasonal updates and supply marketing assets to partners for use across their marketing channels, ensuring consistent brand representation.
• Work closely with our distribution centre and brand warehouses to support our Trading team in maintaining smooth and efficient stock management.
• Update and assist with Host WSSI processes.
• Help produce trade packs, including lessons learnt and materials for meetings.
• Conduct regular competitive analysis by monitoring competitors' websites and providing feedback on key findings.
  

What You'll Have

• A commercial mindset - you are numerate and data-driven and have a keen interest in fashion.
• Advanced Excel skills are preferred.
• Natural ability to communicate with individuals at all levels, from Directors to peers, articulating your ideas and suggestions clearly, positively and convincingly.
• Excellent communication skills, you use strong questioning and listening techniques to ensure a shared understanding before concluding any discussion or meeting.
• Exceptional organizational skills, you are capable of prioritising your workload to consistently deliver work of the highest standard.
• As a self-starter, you are enthusiastic about learning and growing in your role.
• A strong understanding of Mint Velvets market position & its competitors, as well as our core customer and their behaviours across all e-commerce platforms.

About Mint Velvet In 2009, co-founders Liz, Lisa and Jane came up with the idea for Mint Velvet over cups of fresh mint tea at Lizs kitchen table. After years of not finding what they wanted to wear on the high street, the trio had outgrown the fast fashion brands dominating the retail space and wanted the latest trends translated in a relaxed way. The range has also expanded to include accessories, activewear, homeware and gifts all with our signature Relaxed Glamour aesthetic.
After a whirlwind of success in the first couple of years, we now have stores nationwide, a thriving website and partnerships with premium department stores.
