We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated team player to join our dynamic and friendly practice as a salaried GP. Experience is preferred however we would be open to employing a newly qualified GP for the right candidate. Mentorship is provided by a named GP Partner to facilitate a smooth transition into the team.
Our Clinical team consists of 6 Partners, 7 salaried GPs, GP Trainee, 1 ANP, 5 Practice Nurses, a Frailty Practice Nurse and 3 HCAs.
We are a traditional general practice, committed to delivering high quality care to our patients with a strong ethos focussed on excellent team working to achieve a manageable workload.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all patients.
We are looking for a salaried GP to work between 6 and 8 sessions (working days to be discussed).
The surgery is open from 8am - 6.30pm. We operate morning and afternoon surgeries with a mix of telephone and face to face appointments. You will also have a fair share of on-calls, home visits, admin work and holiday cover for colleagues. We currently have a doctor on call a.m. and p.m. with a second doctor on call to support.
GPs are expected to keep up to date with current evidence-based practice and CPD.

We are a busy training practice who pride ourselves on patient care, developing our staff and supporting the community.
