Principal Engineering Technician/Sr. Principal Engineering Technician

Ensure test station and all interface assets are hardware and software configured and ready to support production hardware tests. Work closely with REs and QA to maintain and validate aircraft production system hardware and software Principal Engineering Technician: (K3) High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience. Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP/PAR) - needed to start. Experienced using test equipment such as digital multimeters, O-Scopes, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, and RF and audio signal generators Experience in reading and interpreting technical schematics, drawings, and maintenance manuals. Sr. Principal Engineering Technician: (K4) High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience. Active DoD Secret Clearance Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP/PAR) - needed to start. High school diploma or equivalent is required with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with military and/or commercial aircraft avionics and communications systems, electrical systems, and test stations/ lab operations. Experienced using test equipment such as digital multimeters, O-Scopes, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, and RF and audio signal generators Experience in reading and interpreting technical schematics, drawings, and maintenance manuals. Strong problem-solving abilities and an aptitude for working in dynamic environments Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Experienced with Electronic Principals, Military and Commercial data bus standards protocols to include but are not limited to MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, Ethernet, RS485/RS422, and 1394 busses Experience in a configuration-controlled lab facility/ maintenance environment. Knowledgeable in Military Aircraft Communications, Navigation/GPS, Multi-Band Transmitters, and Data Recording Systems Proven ability to mentor junior technicians and support team development. Certifications or technical training in relevant engineering technologies.
