We are looking to hire a video editor for my Youtube Channel and Podcast, Nicky at Night!

This is a show where we do deep dives on all things Music, Movies, Marketing, and internet culture. The majority of episodes are filmed solo in a video-essay style format. There are also occasional guest episodes where I interview Music Artists, which would be edited in a similar style.

The length of each video is roughly 45min-1hr.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Weekly long-form episodes, so ~4 videos a month

- Project based with the opportunity to expand into more responsibilities and more $$ if desired

- Turnaround time for each video should be 5-7 days. With 2 rounds of revisions

- Fully remote! But must be generally responsive within PST hours

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

- Edits in Adobe Premiere (not mandatory but highly preferred)

- Chronically online person with extensive knowledge of Music, Movies, and internet culture

- My audience is primarily the girls and the gays. A lot of the media discussed and references tend to be in that world. The ideal candidate has a similar taste profile and fingers on the pulse of Popculture to have an awareness of what is being discussed in order to overlay things like music videos, tiktoks, memes, and gifs related to the subject matter in editing.
