Stones River Electric is seeking a motivated IT Support Technician to support a diverse client base across the Nashville area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with multiple environments, solving a wide range of technical issues, and providing excellent customer service. You’ll support servers, Windows workstations, Office 365, and perform both remote and onsite deployments for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to multiple client environments in an MSP setting
- Respond to and resolve support requests via ticketing system, remote tools, and onsite visits
- Travel to customer sites throughout the Nashville area to provide onsite IT support
- Support, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows workstations and user environments
- Assist with administration and support of servers (primarily Windows Server)
- Deploy, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and related hardware
- Manage and support Office 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint
- Assist with user onboarding/offboarding and permissions management
- Troubleshoot network, system, and application issues across multiple clients
- Document solutions, configurations, and procedures clearly and consistently
- Follow MSP best practices for security, documentation, and customer communication
- Experience working in an IT support or helpdesk role (MSP experience preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and common business applications
- Experience supporting servers and core infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with Office 365 administration and troubleshooting
- Experience providing both remote and onsite support
- Comfortable working with multiple clients and shifting priorities
- Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites within the Nashville area
- Strong customer service, communication, and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Prior MSP experience
- Active Directory, Group Policy, and user management
- Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls)
- Experience with RMM and ticketing systems
- Backup, disaster recovery, and endpoint security tools
- IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, etc.)
- Exposure to a wide range of technologies and client environments
