The engineering team operates within an Agile environment, focusing on scalable Salesforce platform development, ISV distribution models, and enterprise-grade integrations.

About the Role

You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and QA teams to build and optimize Salesforce-based applications.

This hybrid role (Hamilton, NJ) includes hands-on Apex development, architectural contributions, CI/CD enablement, and mentorship of junior developers.

You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and help drive platform modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Development & Architecture

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Salesforce Apex
• Build scalable, reusable components and managed packages (ISV-ready)
• Contribute to architectural design and technical decision-making
• Develop integrations with backend systems, APIs, and data services

Platform Engineering & Optimization

• Support CI/CD workflows and automation processes
• Maintain version control best practices using GitHub
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability
• Drive root-cause analysis and long-term technical solutions

Collaboration & Leadership

• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards
• Mentor junior developers and guide technical direction
• Partner with Product Managers and QA teams for high-quality releases
• Contribute to continuous improvement in development practices

Ideal Background

• Strong experience with Salesforce Apex development
• Experience designing scalable enterprise applications
• Familiarity with Salesforce integrations and API-based architecture
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub
• Understanding of secure software development in regulated environments
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical strategy
