We are seeking a highly analytical and forward-thinking Senior Financial Analyst – AI to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role will focus on leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning tools to enhance financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will combine deep financial expertise with a strong understanding of AI technologies to drive data-driven insights and automation across the finance function.

We’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst - Artificial Intelligence (AI) to join the Thrive Pet Healthcare Home Office team.

In this role, you’ll play a meaningful part in advancing our organization’s priorities and supporting our hospital teams. Your expertise will help improve processes, elevate the employee and client experience, and strengthen the operational foundation of a growing, nationwide veterinary network.

What You’ll Do

  • AI-Driven Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain advanced financial models using AI/ML techniques to improve forecasting accuracy and scenario planning.
  • Strategic Analysis: Provide actionable insights on business performance, cost optimization, and investment opportunities using predictive analytics.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations Finance to deliver actionable analytics, improve workflow, optimize forecasting and ROI processes
  • Risk Assessment: Use AI models to identify financial risks and opportunities, including market trends and operational efficiency.
  • Data Automation & Integration: Collaborate with FP&A Manager of Financials Systems and Processes to automate data pipelines and integrate AI tools into financial systems.
  • Performance Reporting: Design and deliver dynamic dashboards and reports using AI-enhanced visualization tools (Excel, Sigma, Adaptive)
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance FP&A capabilities.

Experience & Skills Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA desirable
  • Experience: 5+ years in financial analysis, with at least 2 years working with AI/ML tools or data analytics platforms. Proven record of enhancing reporting and forecasting processes utilizing AI
  • Experience with Adaptive forecasting and planning tools
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
  • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
  • Software: Workday Adaptive, SQL, PowerBI, Copilot, other AI tools
