Position Overview

Assist in IS Services & Support, focusing on system maintenance, data analysis, and cybersecurity. This role supports daily IS activities and contributes to system development, maintenance, and cybersecurity initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in day-to-day IS activities, supporting system development and maintenance.
  • Analyze data to improve workflows and contribute to cybersecurity protocols.
  • Provide technical support by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Develop end-user training materials and collaborate with team members.
  • Manage support tickets, prioritize requests, and document IS inventory and project details.
  • Image hardware, install software, set up jobsites, and track IS assets.
  • Adhere to IS Operations and Maintenance manuals and safety protocols.
  • Participate in testing and validating new software and system configurations.
  • Prepare materials and assist with training sessions.
  • Collaborate on IS projects, report progress, and recommend technology improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a college/university degree or Co-op program in IT, Security, Data Analytics or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of completed education or equivalent experience.
  • Must be 18 years of age for construction site work.
  • Strong desire to work in Information Systems with exposure to the construction industry.
  • Commitment to standard business hours and flexibility for overtime when necessary.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with leadership or community involvement experience.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to comprehend written information and take accountability for actions.
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills with familiarity in Microsoft Office.
  • Access to reliable transportation and a willingness to travel.
