Join a dynamic media production team focused on creating compelling interview content that delves into culture, finance, freedom, and the future. This role is ideal for a video editor who thrives on both cinematic storytelling and fast-paced, viral editing. You will be responsible for crafting engaging Hollywood-style intro hooks, refining long-form interviews with music and seamless transitions, and producing short-form clips optimized for platforms such as YouTube Shorts, Reels, and TikTok. The ideal candidate is passionate about narrative pacing, sound design, and visual polish, and is comfortable working remotely with a flexible, part-time schedule.

Deliverables

Edit long-form interview videos with a cinematic approach, ensuring smooth pacing and engaging storytelling.
Create dynamic intro hooks and highlight reels to capture viewer attention.
Produce viral short-form clips tailored for social media platforms, optimizing for engagement and shareability.
Integrate music, sound design, and color grading to enhance the overall production value.
Apply motion graphics and subtle VFX where appropriate to elevate content quality.
Collaborate with producers to meet project deadlines and adapt to evolving creative direction.

Requirements

Proven experience editing interviews, podcasts, or documentaries.
Strong proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or similar editing tools.
Demonstrated ability to switch between cinematic and fast-paced editing styles.
Solid understanding of story structure, pacing, and sound design.
Experience with color correction and grading.
Familiarity with YouTube storytelling techniques and social media content trends.
Bonus: Skills in motion graphics, VFX, and experience with content related to finance, tech, or culture.
Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver projects on tight deadlines.
Part-time availability and ability to work remotely.
