EUR IRS Trader

Your role
We are looking for a proactive and talented individual to join our EUR Interest Rate Swaps (IRS) franchise. This role is based in London and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of UBS’s EUR IRS business.
Key Responsibilities

• Engage in day-to-day market making and risk management across EUR IRS products.
• Generate trading ideas and contribute to expanding the EUR IRS franchise.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and client visits.
• Collaborate closely with the broader team
• Work on initiatives to enhance the desk’s technological capabilities and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, including execution quality, pricing, hedging, and risk limits.
• Leverage synergies with the other trading desks in Paris to deliver integrated solutions to clients.

You will be part of a dynamic fixed income franchise. Together, we trade a wide range of interest rate products, providing liquidity, solutions, and insights to corporate, institutional, and wealth management clients.
Your expertise

• Strong understanding of EUR IRS markets and interest rate products.
• Commercially driven with a focus on client engagement and franchise growth.
• Ability to work with analytical tools and spreadsheets for risk and relative value analysis.
• Solid foundation in fixed income concepts and willingness to develop advanced modelling skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, economics, or a quantitative discipline.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across locations.
