Cyber Operations Analyst

We at the United States Department of Defense are looking for an experienced Cyber Operations Analyst to join our team. This Cyber Operations Analyst will be tasked with ensuring the security of our networks and systems, including analyzing threat intelligence, identifying and responding to network security incidents, and evaluating security systems. As a Cyber Operations Analyst, you must be a highly motivated individual with excellent problem solving and communication skills, and have a strong knowledge of cyber security technologies and best practices. Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze threat intelligence, vulnerability, and security information to identify potential security incidents.

Investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.

Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the security of networks and systems.

Evaluate and recommend cyber security technologies and solutions to enhance the security posture of the organization.

Collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure secure operations.

Analyze security-relevant logs, network traffic, and other sources of information to identify and mitigate security risks.

Develop and maintain documented processes, procedures, and workflows for security operations.

Create reports related to cyber security incidents and operations.

Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends and technologies.

Perform other duties as assigned.
