IT Support Analyst is a critical role responsible for ensuring our technology environment runs smoothly across all United Utility Services and locations. Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, you will be the go‑to problem solver in an in‑office position located in Canton, MS or New Orleans, LA. In this role, you help keep our team connected, productive, and secure while supporting a diverse and innovative work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and guidance to resolve users’ hardware and software problems
  • Prioritize and elaborate issues to ensure timely problem resolution
  • Perform analysis of problems and determine the most effective resolution procedures
  • Configure and install new hardware, software, and peripheral equipment
  • Create and revise user training documentation and procedures
  • Maintain technical support logs and resolution reports
  • Assist in implementing security protocols, practices, and awareness management
  • Maintain user software and hardware and asset tracking systems
  • Perform effective patch management and security configuration updates
  • Perform other office tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

  • 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in a corporate end‑user desktop and mobile support role
  • Certification such as CompTIA, MCSA, MTA, Microsoft Azure, Cisco-based certification or an Associate Degree in a related field
  • Thorough knowledge of Windows 10/11 and iOS
  • Experience with Entra Intune administration and VPN support
  • Effective troubleshooting and documentation skills, including advanced printer and peripheral device troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Visio, flow diagrams, SharePoint, or other collaboration tools
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proven sense of urgency to prioritize work
  • Excellent grammar, verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be willing to travel and capable of maintaining focus for extended periods
  • Sound decision-making abilities and effective oral communication skills
  • Ability to use a computer for long periods of time
