Duties And Responsibilities
Knowledge/ Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design or Graphic Information Technology preferred.
Knowledge of basic principles of design for print, digital, web and animation required.
Solid understanding traditional prepress and print production required.
Solid understanding of web design principles, including responsive/adaptive design, user experience & accessibility helpful.
Experience
Three years related professional design experience required. To include:
Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Able to effectively motivate peers and colleagues to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
Able to organize, prioritize and execute a variable workload and multiple priorities.
Self-motivated, self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and effective followthrough. Project management experience helpful.
Proficient personal computer skills in both PC and Mac environments, specifically in the use of Microsoft Office products to include SharePoint-based intranet.
Expert with Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensures graphic and visual assets are aligned with brand identity and strategy.
- Designs web content using approved CMS and in accordance with corporate guidelines, ensuring standards for timeliness and quality are met.
- Works closely with an interdisciplinary team of designers, video producers, and other content creators, to use design and critical thinking skills to generate ideas and shape customer experience.
- Translates a variety of data into clear and engaging visual presentations that bring the data to life and provide insights to our audience.
- Designs and produces creative visual and graphic elements for print and digital media for internal and external projects and activities. Ensures standards for timeliness and quality are met.
- Organizes and maintains archive of all visual assets.
- Remains abreast of changes and developments in the blood banking industry and in digital and visual communication related to regulations and standards and provides direction to implement required changes.
- Establishes and maintains a network of professional relationships

- Experience in fundamentals of web display ad creation including ad specifications and animated GIFs.
- Experience designing in Eloqua or other marketing automation tools.
- Demonstrated experience in design best practices and production of graphic art and visual materials for enterprise-wide branding initiatives, collateral and informational materials through a variety of media such as print, websites, presentation and digital documents.
