Content Strategy & Planning

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute a comprehensive social media content strategy aligned with overall marketing goals and brand guidelines.

Research and identify trending topics, relevant hashtags, and emerging social media features to inform content creation.

Maintain a content calendar, ensuring a consistent and timely flow of engaging posts.

Monitor competitor social media activity and industry trends to identify opportunities and best practices.

Content Creation & Production

Design, create, and edit a diverse range of social media content, including:

Visuals: Graphics, images, infographics, GIFs, short-form videos (Reels, TikTok’s, Shorts), animations.

Written: Captions, headlines, blog snippets, stories, polls, quizzes.

Audio: Voiceovers, sound design for videos.

Utilize graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva), video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Animaze), and other relevant content creation platforms.

Ensure all content is on-brand, visually appealing, grammatically correct, and optimized for each specific platform (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Pinterest).

Source or create high-quality photography and videography as needed.

Community Engagement & Management

Write compelling and engaging captions that encourage interaction and drive desired actions.

Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and on-brand manner, fostering a positive community.

Actively participate in relevant online conversations and communities.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization

Track and analyse social media content performance using analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics).

Generate regular reports on key metrics (reach, engagement, impressions, click-through rates, conversions).

Use data-driven insights to refine content strategy, optimize future content, and improve overall social media effectiveness.

Conduct A/B testing on content elements to identify best-performing approaches.

Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with other marketing team members, sales, product, and other departments to gather content ideas and ensure consistent messaging.

Present content ideas and performance reports to stakeholders.

Stay up-to-date with social media platform changes, algorithm updates, and new features.

What You’ll Need

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Experience: 3 years of proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator, Social Media Specialist, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of work.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, Animaze).

Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve).

Experience with social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, Later).

Strong understanding of social media analytics tools.

Familiarity with photography and videography equipment (DSLR, mirrorless, smartphone cameras) is a plus.

Soft Skills

Exceptional creativity and a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong understanding of brand voice and ability to adapt content accordingly.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn and adapt to new trends.
