Voices Meet Minds is a peer-driven mental-health organization dedicated to fostering authentic conversations, creative expression, and accessible education around mental health advocacy and awareness. We aim to bridge communities through storytelling, art, and de-stigmatizing mental illness.
Role Summary
The Content Creator helps shape our public voice and digital presence by producing engaging, thoughtful, and creative multimedia content for Voices Meet Minds' social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and website). This role is ideal for someone passionate about mental-health awareness, storytelling, and creative communication.

If you have an interest in content creation and want more experience, this might be the opportunity for you! We're looking for someone who might not have the most professional experience, but has the dedication for this role. We want to see some creativity and genuine passion for mental health and marketing!
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design posts, stories, videos, and graphics that reflect VMM's mission and brand voice.
- Collaborate with team members to plan monthly content calendars and campaign themes.
- Write captions and short-form copy that are informative, empathetic, and audience-appropriate.
- Edit videos or images for visual consistency and accessibility (e.g., adding captions, alt text).
- Brainstorm new ideas for community engagement, mental-health awareness campaigns, and creative storytelling projects.
- Ensure all content aligns with VMM's ethical and inclusive messaging guidelines.
- Must be able to commit for at least a year. Continuation is subject to performance review.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience with or interest in social media management, photography, videography, or digital design (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express).
- Strong written and visual storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with current social media trends and mental-health advocacy spaces.
- Collaborative spirit, reliability, and respect for sensitive topics.

Qualifications
- Must be based in the U.S.
- Must be able to commit 3-5 hours per week.
