About The Role
We are seeking a contract Video Editor to join our dynamic team and support our ongoing YouTube content production. This role is execution-focused, requiring the candidate to produce and edit engaging videos that align with an established and clearly defined style. The ideal candidate will work closely with our internal team, taking raw footage, scripts, and references to craft polished videos that mirror the pacing, tone, and visual language of our recognized content creators. This position offers the flexibility of remote work and is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical editing skills and a passion for storytelling. The selected candidate will be responsible for assembling footage, adding graphics, sound design, and ensuring each video meets platform best practices for viewer engagement and retention.
Qualifications

• Proven experience editing YouTube videos with a portfolio demonstrating consistency and storytelling ability
• Strong proficiency with professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Ability to closely replicate an established editing style based on detailed references and creative direction
• Excellent attention to detail, including timing, audio levels, text accuracy, and visual consistency
• Experience working with shared assets, brand guidelines, and reference videos
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness in a remote work environment
• Interest or familiarity with theme parks, travel, or YouTube content creation
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently
  

Responsibilities

• Edit long-form and short-form YouTube videos to match the specific style of Orlando Informer’s established content creators
• Replicate pacing, music, graphics, sound design, and storytelling techniques based on provided examples
• Assemble raw footage, screen recordings, voiceovers, music, and graphics into cohesive, engaging videos
• Add text overlays, basic motion graphics, B-roll, sound effects, and visual enhancements as needed
• Ensure videos adhere to YouTube best practices for pacing, clarity, and viewer retention
• Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently, maintaining high-quality standards
• Organize project files and exports according to internal standards for easy access and review
• Consistently meet production deadlines and schedules
• Support other video-related tasks as required to meet content production goals
