Your Role

As an experienced leader in the insurance industry, you will drive the adoption of Google Cloud as the leading platform for digital innovation, risk management, and customer engagement. Your vision will guide insurers in modernizing operations and adopting data and AI-driven methods for growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities Include

• Strategic Industry Leadership: Develop a comprehensive market strategy for Google Cloud in the global insurance landscape, addressing needs from underwriting to regulatory compliance.
• Insurance Transformation: Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, guiding the modernization of core insurance functions through the use of innovative cloud solutions.
• Data and AI Innovation: Advocate for the use of Google's data and AI technologies to break down data silos and craft unified platforms that enhance risk assessment and customer insights.
• Security and Compliance: Champion data security and compliance initiatives, working with regulators and industry leaders to build trust in our platform.
• Ecosystem Leadership: Cultivate a strong partner ecosystem within the insurance sector, representing Google Cloud at industry events and promoting a vision for a secure, intelligent insurance future.

Travel may be required for this position, varying based on client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent experience (minimum 12 years).
• 15 years of senior leadership experience within the insurance industry.
• 7 years of domain expertise across the insurance value chain.
• Proven track record of leading technology-driven transformation projects in insurance.

Bonus Points

• MBA or professional designation (e.g., FCAS, FSA, CPCU).
• Experience with public cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud) in insurance contexts.
• Success in implementing AI/ML solutions in underwriting, claims, or fraud reduction.
• Network of relationships within leading insurance companies and InsurTechs.
• Exceptional credibility to advise senior executives and advocate for industry advancements.
