THE WORK

In this leadership role, you will excel at the intersection of technical expertise and strategic vision, understanding that exceptional software goes beyond sophisticated architecture to solve real-world issues. You will possess proficiency in designing intricate solutions on Google Cloud while leading a diverse, high-performing team to successful project launches. With a consultative mindset and an innate curiosity for the underlying 'why,' you will translate complex business needs into innovative technical solutions. As an outstanding communicator and proponent of modern engineering, you will connect the gap between client aspirations and technical outcomes.

As a GCP delivery lead, your responsibilities will include consulting on and engineering projects that tailor Google Cloud solutions to meet specific client needs. You will work in collaboration with Accenture's global delivery teams to provide unparalleled technical expertise and product innovation for effective execution of complex tech solutions. Key responsibilities involve:

• Practice Leadership & Team Development: Guide a practice of Google Cloud engineers, establishing best practices and mentoring them for professional advancement.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration: Oversee on-shore and off-shore project teams, conducting reviews and engaging with stakeholders to guarantee excellence in deliverables.
• Technical Product Expertise: Act as a primary technical advisor for sales and delivery, utilizing expertise to drive ongoing innovation.
• Hands-On Technical Execution: Design, build, test, and implement complex cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud.
• Client Relationships: Collaborate with clients to grasp their objectives, transforming these goals into innovative solutions while tackling unique challenges.
• Advocate for Modern Engineering & Agile Delivery: Encourage modern engineering and Agile practices, coaching teams for superior software delivery.
• Multi-Project Delivery & Accountability: Oversee delivery across multiple concurrent client projects ensuring quality and stakeholder engagement.
• Expert Delivery across the Google Cloud Ecosystem: Leverage your expertise to lead impactful solutions across various Google Cloud domains including:
• Data & AI: Create analytics and data pipelines utilizing tools like BigQuery and Dataflow.
• Generative & Agentic AI: Develop AI solutions through Vertex AI and advanced models.
• Security Operations: Design integrated solutions for contemporary security operations platforms.
• Marketing Intelligence: Formulate data-driven marketing solutions through customer data integration.
• Customer Engagement: Tailor solutions like Contact Center AI to enhance client engagements.
• Application & Infrastructure Modernization: Deploy solutions using Google Kubernetes Engine and modern CI/CD methodologies.
• Workplace & Collaboration Solutions: Develop integrations for Google Workspace, automating workflows with APIs.

Please note, in-person collaboration is essential for nurturing relationships with clients and peers. Travel may be required based on client preferences.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Minimum of 8 years in a hands-on, client-oriented technology role.
• At least 5 years of practical experience in architecting solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• A minimum of 3 years in a leadership position, with team management and mentoring experience.
• Experience steering global project teams and managing multiple project streams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

• Consulting experience in solution delivery and stakeholder engagement.
• Expertise in engineering best practices and operational frameworks.
• Industry or functional expertise in relevant solution areas.
• Extensive knowledge of the GCP ecosystem and hands-on experience with specific tools.
• Experience using Google Workspace APIs for building custom automation integrations.
• Practical experience with contact center technologies.
• Multiple Google Cloud Professional certifications.
