THE WORK

Join our dynamic sales team in driving the adoption of market-leading Google Cloud solutions. In this role as a Sales Engineer, your focus will be on guiding mid-market clients through critical technology transformations. You'll serve as a technical partner, helping clients effectively navigate their unique challenges and achieve business success.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Conducting workshops and assessments to understand client business challenges and strategic goals.
  • Advising clients on optimal Google Cloud solutions that foster continuous innovation and growth.
  • Designing innovative solutions on the Google Cloud Platform that link directly to measurable business outcomes.
  • Leading technical workshops and proof-of-concept demonstrations to showcase how our solutions address specific client needs.
  • Acting as the technical authority, guiding clients on best practices and technology strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborating on value-driven proposals and ensuring alignment with client success metrics.
  • Facilitating a seamless transition from sales to implementation, aligning customer expectations with delivery plans.

The amount of travel for this role will vary based on business needs and client requirements.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 5+ years of experience in a hands-on, client-facing technology role (e.g., Cloud Engineer, Solution Architect, or Sales Engineer).
  • 4+ years of practical experience architecting solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • 2+ years of experience in Modernization, Data & AI, Call Center AI, or related areas on Google Cloud technologies.
  • 4+ years engaging with technical and executive stakeholders.
  • 2+ years in managing global teams and knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

  • Consulting or sales experience with focus on innovation and stakeholder management.
  • Expertise in operating models and engineering best practices.
  • Deep knowledge of the GCP ecosystem, including CES, GKE, BigQuery, and Apigee.
  • Google Cloud Professional certifications.
