What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report observations according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Work collaboratively with client personnel and local law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats within the tech and media environment.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities as required by site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• A minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania only.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
