Allied Universal is North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeking a Security Officer - Bank Patrol Driver in Arlington, VA. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution, deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding the company's values of integrity and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the financial institution location
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior
- Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the location
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to offer assistance and uphold Allied Universal standards
- Complete required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities in a timely manner
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary in accordance with site-specific protocols
Skills
- Be at least 21 years of age
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
- Access control or badge experience is preferred
- CPR or first aid certification is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred
