As a Security Officer - Downtown Patrol in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns with calm, clear communication, document activity, and support a welcoming experience for employees and visitors. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to alarms, access control alerts, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual conditions and/or maintenance concerns.
• Control access by verifying identification and/or authorization, monitoring visitor check-in processes, and directing guests and deliveries to appropriate areas.
• Complete required reports such as daily activity logs and incident reports, and communicate pertinent information to site contacts, management, and/or public responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
