Security Professional - Part-Time Retail Patrol

As a Security Professional, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents and delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents to appropriate personnel or authorities
• Assist visitors, customers, and/or employees with directions or information as needed while maintaining a visible presence
• Support loss prevention efforts by monitoring entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas
• Collaborate with store management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment

Skills

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
• Loss prevention experience is preferred
