Machine Learning Engineer with U.S. Security Clearance

This position is designed for an engineer who thrives at the crossroads of machine learning, data systems, and production software. Your Impact

• Design and implement data pipelines and machine learning workflows that power production AI applications
• Improve data access strategies to maximize performance, scalability, and reliability across systems
• Partner with analysts, product leaders, and domain experts to ensure data accuracy and a trusted source of truth
• Own the end to end data and model lifecycle, from ingestion and transformation through inference and downstream processing
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure responsive and stable user experiences
• Build interactive dashboards and analytical views using Python based SDKs to translate complex data into clear insights
• Architect applications that balance robustness, usability, and future scalability
• Work closely with product and design partners to continuously improve usability and overall product quality

Required Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience in software engineering
• Active U.S. Secret clearance with the ability and willingness to obtain a TS SCI clearance
• Comfort working in secure environments including on site work in SCIF locations as required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders to define, organize, and validate data requirements
• Hands on experience designing data models and managing data pipelines
• Experience working with diverse data sources including structured, semi structured, and unstructured data
• Demonstrated success deploying software and machine learning systems into production environments
• Advanced proficiency in Python and the modern Python data ecosystem
• Experience with large scale data platforms and processing frameworks such as Spark, Databricks, or Snowflake
• Familiarity with data and model configuration management practices
• Working knowledge of containerization, orchestration, and version control tools
• Strong problem solving skills paired with a high degree of ownership and accountability

Preferred Experience

• Experience with workflow orchestration or scheduling tools used in data and machine learning systems
• Exposure to backend or data focused web frameworks or rapid application development tools for analytics
