Job Title: Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support services to our customers.

About the Role

The Technical Support Engineer will be the primary point of contact for customers experiencing technical issues. They will be responsible for troubleshooting, resolving and escalating complex technical problems in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
Ticket closure within Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Providing L1 & L2 technical support for operating systems and applications
Installation and troubleshooting software on desktops and servers
Performing IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) tasks
On-going end-user support
Network printer configuration
Standard office application support
Non-comprehensive maintenance support on all assets
End-user support across locations
Daily checklist completion
Vendor management services
Logging tickets and follow-up with IT vendors
End-user computing services
Townhall and audio/video conference support
Training room setup
Support asset team for inventory and allocation
Basic LAN trouble shooting

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need

Technical Skills:
Operating system and application knowledge
Software installation and troubleshooting experience
IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) skills
Network printer configuration knowledge
Basic LAN troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with service desk software and ticketing systems
