[Remote] Head of Product-Equity Only (Seed Stage)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Canopi is an enterprise workforce compliance and credential intelligence platform focused on supply chain, logistics, and transportation operators. They are seeking a Head of Product who will own the product roadmap and work closely with engineering and sales to ensure the product meets customer needs in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap across our core platform, credential hub, and auditor workspace
• Translate customer and market signals into clear product requirements and milestones
• Work closely with sales to support discovery, demos, and feedback from prospects
• Work closely with engineering to scope, prioritize, and ship features on time
• Deeply understand supply chain, logistics, and transportation operators and their compliance pain
• Define simple, clear success metrics for pilots and early customers
• Partner with the CEO on positioning, pricing inputs, and investor storytelling
• Build light weight product processes, just enough to keep us aligned and moving fast
• Mentor junior team members as the product and engineering team grows

Skills

• Significant experience in B2B SaaS product management, ideally in compliance, risk, logistics, HR tech, or another complex, regulated space
• Proven track record of taking a product from zero to one, not just inheriting a mature product
• Comfort sitting with customers, asking hard questions, and distilling what actually matters
• Strong collaboration skills with engineering and sales, you are comfortable in both worlds
• Ability to write clear specs, user stories, and documentation without overcomplicating things
• Experience in an early stage startup or similar environment, where resources are lean and speed matters
• A practical view on AI, understanding where it can add real value without becoming the product on its own
• Willingness to work for equity only until the seed round closes
