Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer, you are highly independent and self‑directed, with deep expertise across multiple technical domains. You bring a broad architectural perspective and are trusted to solve complex, ambiguous problems with minimal oversight.
You proactively identify technical risks, uncover architectural opportunities, and design systems that span multiple services and platforms. While your day‑to‑day impact is within your team, you are directly accountable for product and program outcomes, including delivery quality and cost performance.
You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Researchers, Data Scientists, and DevOps/SRE teams to define requirements, shape solutions, and ensure reliable, high‑quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain highly scalable, reliable software systems
Lead technical initiatives and architecture discussions within your team
Mentor and guide less‑experienced engineers through code reviews and design collaboration
Improve engineering standards, tooling, and development processes
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system‑level architectural issues
Qualifications
5+ years of professional software development experience
Strong expertise in multiple programming languages and paradigms
Deep understanding of system design, distributed systems, and cloud architecture
Proven track record of delivering end‑to‑end software solutions
Excellent communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions
Experience integrating AI services or leveraging advanced AI coding tools to improve productivity and code quality
Technical Proficiencies
Frontend
React / Next.js / TypeScript
Expert level. Defines frontend architecture, manages complex application state, and enforces rigorous performance standards.
Backend
Python, PHP
Expert level. Designs scalable, concurrent services and resilient microservice architectures.
Databases
PostgreSQL / NoSQL
Advanced data modeling, zero‑downtime migrations, and performance optimization.
Infrastructure & Cloud
AWS / GCP / Kubernetes / CI/CD
Designs and operates robust CI/CD pipelines with deep knowledge of cloud networking, security, and container orchestration.
AI Tooling
Claude / LLMs
Integrates LLM APIs into production systems and uses advanced prompting for architectural evaluation and large‑scale code refactoring.
