Senior Full Stack Engineer – .NET & Azure

As a Lead Full Stack Engineer .NET & Azure, you will make an impact by designing, building, and enhancing high‑performance applications using Microsoft technologies and Azure cloud services. You will be a valued member of a cross‑functional engineering team and collaborate closely with stakeholders, developers, and customers to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
This role combines hands‑on full stack development with technical leadership, including guiding team deliverables, reviewing code, and resolving complex technical challenges.

In this role, you will
Design, develop, and implement high‑quality full stack solutions using .NET Framework, C#, and Azure services
Build and maintain both frontend and backend components, following industry coding standards and best practices
Lead and support delivery of team assignments, ensuring timelines, quality, and technical alignment
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks
Review, validate, and verify code developed by team members to ensure quality and maintainability
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and reliability expectations
Provide technical guidance and support to clear development obstacles and reduce delivery risk
Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing

What you must have to be considered
8-10+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer using.NET Framework and C#
Strong hands‑on experience building applications on Microsoft Azure cloud services
Experience developing user interfaces, server‑side logic, APIs, and database integrations
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and participation across all phases of delivery
Proven ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues
Experience reviewing code and ensuring adherence to coding standards and quality guidelines
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
These will help you stand out
Experience leading or coordinating team deliverables in an agile environment
Exposure to modern frontend frameworks and UI development
Experience building scalable, high‑performance enterprise applications
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud optimization

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 to $141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
