The OIC Integration Specialist is responsible for designing, supporting, and maintaining Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations that support and enable OARS applications.

This is a restricted position, which is solely funded by federal grants for a period of 3 years. The availability of funding is scheduled for review before the expiration date of funding. Employment is contingent on the continued availability of grant or non-general funds.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role serves as the primary integration support resource for OARS, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable data exchanges between Commonwealth Applications to the DEQ’s OARS and on-premise systems. The OIC Integration Specialist works closely with the OCI Administrator, Business Transformation (BT) staff, and the Development team to support day-to-day operations, troubleshoot integration issues, and implement enhancements aligned with business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in developing web business applications using .NET and other web-based technologies and understanding of multi-tier architecture

Advanced skills in .NET MVC Framework and application development experience with ASP .NET, C#, Web API

Experience in Oracle Fusion REST/SOAP APIs, file-based integrations, and event-driven integration patterns

Working experience in OIC Administration and Development

Extensive knowledge of .NET development using Entity Framework, XML, JSON, web services with both .NET 4.x and .NET Core (3.x or greater), SOA concepts, GIT

Knowledge in Responsive UI design patterns and frameworks

Knowledge of a variety of web-based UI development platforms/languages, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery

Working experience with relational databases such as Oracle/SQL Server, ATP Databases.
