Application Developer - Cloud Integration

Description

CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer – Cloud Integration position for our client.

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 months

Duties

• Understand solution designs and collaborate with designers and architects to plan ETL development using the Informatica DEI/BDM toolset.
• Assist in completing and validating design deliverables.
• Perform ETL development using Informatica DEI/BDM, including building code, completing unit testing, and documenting unit test results.
• Conduct independent testing as required.
• Provide testing support for defect triage and resolution across System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
• Create production deployment plans, scheduling sheets, and obtain change approvals from required stakeholders.
• Support production deployments and coordinate with production support and infrastructure teams.
• Provide warranty and post-production support, including investigation and resolution of production ETL issues.
• Implement performance tuning and optimization using the Informatica DEI/BDM toolset.
• Work effectively within an onshore/offshore delivery model.

Skills

• Mandatory:
• Informatica DEI (Big Data Management – BDM)
• Nice to Have:
• Talend with Snowflake
• Ab Initio
• Strong knowledge of Hive.
• Strong Unix/Linux and SQL skills.
• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience

• Proven experience in ETL development and support using Informatica DEI/BDM in enterprise or cloud-based environments.
• Experience supporting full SDLC activities, including design collaboration, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Experience working with large-scale data platforms and distributed data processing frameworks.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
