Position: Cinematic Video Evaluator

Referral Partner: Crossing Hurdles

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $45 per hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided)

• Review short-form cinematic video clips (5–15 seconds, 720p–4K) and evaluate quality
• Assess compositions, motion, lighting, narrative, mood, and cinematic taste
• Judge emotional impact and creative direction of video submissions
• Select top-performing clips from provided content batches
• Maintain high standards of visual quality and aesthetic judgment

Requirements

• Experience in video editing, motion design, animation, cinematography, or filmmaking
• Strong creative instinct & understanding of composition, color, pacing, and cinematic feel
• Ability to articulate visual critique clearly
• Strong experience working on visually rich commercial/film/motion work
• Keen sense of taste and awareness of modern visual trends
