Job Location: San Jose, CA

Compensation: $180K - $250K base Depending on experience plus stock options!

We were founded in 2020 by a team of veterans in Silicon Valley, and our mission is to accelerate AI computing in data centers and HPC by introducing high-performance, power efficient, scalable and cost-effective interconnect solutions. AI computing and data center architectures are undergoing a fundamental transformation of disaggregation and composability, driven by the enablement of CXL (Computing Express Link) technology.

We are working on a CXL/PCIe-based chip for cloud computing applications. We're expanding our team and looking to add a Sr. Hardware Security Architect to our team!

What You Will Be Doing

The architect is a senior technical leader in the company, steering the capability progression of our leading-edge switch SoC products and innovating to maintain technology leadership in the market. The Senior Hardware Security Architect carries the following responsibilities:

  • Define and develop the SoC security architecture and the switch platform security architecture to meet the internal and external security requirements.
  • Publish and maintain the internal security architecture specification.
  • Review the SoC architecture, the software architecture, the ASIC microarchitecture and the verification architecture to ensure our products and solutions comply with the security requirements.
  • Evaluate 3rd party IPs to ensure that they comply with the security requirements.
  • Collaborate across the company and with customers and technology partners to set up and guide the direction of the security roadmap for our products.
  • Participate in various consortiums and industrial workgroups for platform security.
  • Regularly discuss with customers and partners to identify security threats and corresponding mitigations.

What You Need for this Position

Must have a Master's (Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar with 10+ years of experience:

  • Experience in the SoC and platform security fields
  • Proven track record of successfully driving the security architecture for SoCs and/or system platforms
  • ARM CPU subsystem architecture, including memory subsystem design, cache subsystems and software debug architecture, and also related security functionality.
  • SoC architecture including secure boot, attestation, data integrity, access control and secuirty life cycle management
  • Working knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and their implementation, including encryption, secure hash, digital signature, random bit generation.
  • Experience in programming and debugging in languages such as C/C++, ARM assembly, Python/Perl and Verilog.
  • Experience with the Linux OS including drivers, as well as BIOs is a plus
  • Proficiency in evaluating architecture proposals, 3rd party IP features and software/system algorithms and providing innovative guidance.
