[Remote] Software Solutions Technical Specialist

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. dormakaba is seeking a remote Software Solutions Technical Specialist who will serve as the LGS product expert and a trusted resource for internal teams. This role involves providing support for installations, managing incoming calls, and resolving technical escalations to ensure client satisfaction and project success.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for the installer hotline, addressing questions that arise during installations
• Manage incoming calls from field technicians, certified installers, and integrators
• Support the definition, development, installation, and testing of software systems and application
• Conduct remote software installations and deliver end-user training as needed
• Collaborate with the Project Coordinator to resolve technical escalations on projects

Skills

• Bachelor's degree preferably from a technical program or in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or IT Systems
• 2+ years' experience in a support role, ideally within a call center or field service environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Server and Client Operating Systems, SQL Server databases, and Microsoft Networking Fundamentals
• Hands-on knowledge of DevOps toolchains, including frameworks for Android and iOS platforms
• Knowledge of iCloud services and cloud platforms; SaaS experience with Azure/AWS certification preferred
• Multilingual skills are an asset, particularly in French and Spanish
• Prior experience in training or teaching
• Hands-on experience with access control, alarm systems, and related software
