Social Media Manager Intern

If any of this sounds like you, Entertainment For Change, a 501(c)3 nonprofit of "IMPACT ARTISTS™ DEDICATED TO EDUCATING YOUTH ABOUT THE UNITED NATIONS' 17 SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS" is looking for a social media management intern to join us this school year to participate in our strategy meetings, work with our content creators and curate a feed that will make impact go viral. We are a passionate and friendly team who is looking for someone with equal amounts passion and motivation to create sustainable change in the world.

Job description
- 5-7 hours per week
- Participate in strategy meetings once a week (we are interested in your thoughts!)
- Work directly with founder to think through the conversations happening on our social, in team meetings and around the world + task team with reacting to impact worthy news
- Plan and publish content and assist in writing captions on Instagram and Tik Tok
- schedule content consistently
- Hashtag/trend research
- Engage with the community via messages and comments!
Requirements
- Experience working in Canva (preferred)
- Has an eye for design that engages
- Self starter and ability to meet deadlines
- Is passionate and motivated to create sustainable change
- Can dedicate 5-7 hours weekly
- Can work for internship credit
