What’s the role?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a best-in-class private equity fund administrator at Managing Director level, delivering the highest quality of service to our clients. The role sits within the Client Service function, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.

The Enterprise Relationship Management (ERM) team's mission is to build and nurture strong client relationships through a tailored white glove approach. The ERM team serves as a centralized point of contact for all strategic and commercial aspects of the client experience, ensuring consistency and excellence across all Gen II products and services. The team strives to be trusted partners to our clients by conducting regular health checks, driving continuous improvement, and aligning our efforts with client goals to support long-term growth.

What you’ll be doing

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as a senior point of contact for key clients, addressing inquiries and escalations expeditiously
  • Understand client needs and develop comprehensive plans to address them
  • Strengthen client relationships through direct interaction as well as partnering with Client Services and other Gen II functions as needed
  • Identify key counterparts at clients and cultivate strong, long-term partnerships
  • Organize and lead meetings with clients covering service quality, firm initiatives and updates, and cross-sell opportunities
  • Drive Revenue, retention, and strategic partnerships for high value cross-border, cross-product accounts.
  • Client Relationship Leadership: Act as the primary, senior-level contact for 6-8 high-profile clients.

Strategic Account Management

  • Maintain a strong knowledge of Gen II services and product offerings
  • Collect feedback from clients and ensure all internal client touch points are communicated with effectively.
  • Identify risks and threats to client relationships and effectively escalate to senior management
  • Work closely with client service teams to ensure client satisfaction and seamless service delivery
  • Monitor client engagement and proactively identify opportunities to enhance the client experience.
  • Cultivate executive-level relationships, develop tailored global account plans, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistent, enterprise-wide service delivery, while managing risks and identify growth opportunities across key clients.

Business Development and Growth

  • Collaborate closely with Business Development team on RFPs and prospect meetings
  • Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities across Gen II's product suite
  • Lead initiatives to expand relationships within existing client base

Operational Excellence

  • Lead or participate in cross-functional projects aimed at process improvement and operational excellence
  • Work across business units to develop strong internal relationships and ensure coordinated client service delivery
  • Drive implementation of best practices in relationship management and client engagement.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide regular status reports, business insights, and performance reviews to both clients and our board/ Global Exco.

The ideal background for this role

  • Highly motivated individual seeking to join a dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; advanced degree/CPA preferred
  • 15+ years of experience in a senior management role, specifically within accounting, financial services or professional services
  • Extensive experience in fund administration, operations, and product management
  • Strong knowledge of private equity fund structures, regulatory environment, and industry best practices
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining senior-level client relationships
  • Experience in managing and excelling within a global organization with strong capabilities in working across teams, collaborating, and gaining trust and buy-in internally
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities

Unique role requirements

  • Role requires travel dependent on client meetings and preferences.

The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $300,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate’s experience level.

Work Arrangement

All applicants applying to Gen II Fund Services, LLC must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Please note that all US employees are required to work a hybrid schedule, comprised of three (3) days a week in our office and two (2) day remotely.
