Sr. Manager, Partner Sales

The Sr. Manager, Partner Sales is responsible for guiding a regionally focused team to achieve revenue targets and develop partner relationships while ensuring the team can facilitate the best partner experiences at Genesys.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable to achieve growth and exceed indirect sales targets while driving pipeline and accurate forecasting
  • Executes and communicates partner sales strategy and setting the operational direction for assigned region
  • Develop and promote excellent, long-lasting partner relationships by working with Sales leadership and Account Executives to understand the needs of our partners and their customers
  • Develop and guide team talent while achieving overall team quota to encourage revenue for Genesys
  • Improving talent within channel team by providing team member coaching, training, and feedback
  • Work with organizations to create and implement creative go-to-market strategies
  • Create new routes to market, what will bring partnering to new heights with impact
  • Orchestrate key resources, collaborate with peers on best practices and creative ways to help team and partner to succeed
  • Further develop and grow the most strategic accounts in the region in line with allocated team quota
  • Support the expansion of the Genesys footprint within the partner ecosystem through cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
  • Coordinate development of sales and marketing materials desired for channel partners to be successful
  • Ensure partner compliance with partner agreements
  • Joins team in partner planning and review sessions, to develop mutual performance objectives and go-to-market plan within each partnership
  • Enable the Partner Managers to assist the partner in maximizing the return of their investment with Genesys
  • Assist in creating an environment of excellence, teamwork and continuous improvement with a strong demonstrable focus on growth mindset

Skills

  • 10-12 years' experience in SaaS industry with technology partners, sales, business development, or consulting in a global setting
  • Demonstrated history of exceeding partner sales quotas and establishing and managing partner relationships with deep knowledge of partner engagement models
  • Skilled in coaching and development, active listening, motivating others, influencing for change
  • Ability to work with complexity, while navigating and leading change in alignment with overall sales strategy
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to develop multiple team members
  • Ability to multi-task and develop multiple streams of work simultaneously
  • Experience in the Enterprise software or Customer Relationship Management industry, selling Software as a Service
  • Results-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and takes ownership and thrives in a fast-moving environment
  • Willing to travel as required
